KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Kansas City firefighters battled fires at two vacant apartment buildings overnight – and arson investigators are now on the scene.
The Kansas City Fire Department said crews responded to the area of E. 9th and Olive St. around 3 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 2, after reports of an apartment fire.
When firefighters arrived, they indicated that they found flames shooting from the second and third floors of two separate three-storey buildings – both vacant.
