KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Northbound I-435 has reopened in Kansas City after a semi-truck struck and killed a pedestrian, police said.
The Kansas City Police Department said it responded to northbound I-435 near NE 48th St. around 3:40 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 25.
Investigators indicated that they found a pedestrian was walking or standing between the left two travel lanes when a northbound white Peterbilt semi-truck pulling a tanker trailer struck them.
Emergency responders added that they pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet publicly identified the victim…
