Meddys, a Mediterranean restaurant that started in Kansas and keeps growing across the Kansas City area, is preparing to open its first location in Olathe.
Founder and owner Alex Harb says the restaurant is planned near North Lennox Street and West 119th Street, just east of Ridgeview Road. Harb hopes to begin construction within the next 60 days. An opening date has not been announced.
A Busy Corner of 119th Street
The site sits in a fast-developing stretch of 119th Street, next to the Hy-Vee near 119th and Ridgeview. Jersey Mike’s Subs is also planning a new Olathe restaurant nearby at 17931 W. 119th St.
The R.H. Johnson Company is developing the property at 119th & Ridgeview. A building of about 16,000 square feet with space for several tenants is now under construction. The Bar and Club Pilates were previously announced as tenants. The developer has also prepared a separate pad site of up to about 7,000 square feet near North Lennox Street.…
