Kansas City man found guilty in St. James Subway stabbing case

A Pulaski County jury has found a Kansas City man guilty of assault and armed criminal action on Thursday.

On April 16, 2026, 47-year-old Patricio Padilla was found guilty of First-Degree Assault, Second-Degree Assault, and two counts of Armed Criminal Action in relation to an incident that occurred at a St. James Subway restaurant on February 3, 2025.
