Pensacola woman charged with hitting, cutting 2 children with broken metal broomstick

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — A 29-year-old Pensacola woman was arrested early Monday morning for hitting and injuring two children with a metal broomstick, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.

Carla Mason is facing charges of aggravated child abuse and resisting arrest. She was booked into Escambia County Jail around 3:15 a.m. and is being held without bond.
