PENSACOLA, Fla. — A 21-year-old Milton man who is a Florida state prison inmate has been sentenced to nearly four years in federal prison after prosecutors said he mailed a threatening letter demanding to be released and warning that a victim would be killed.
Court documents say that on Oct. 18, 2024, the clerk of court for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida received a threatening letter sent by Daniel Bookout and directed toward a victim.
