It would be heartbreaking to know that, while you were away on vacation, someone broke into your home. It would be all the more terrifying if that person was still in your home upon your return.
But that horrific scenario that played out in a Goldilocks fashion is just what one Conshohocken woman found after her early June vacation. Police said they reported to The Birch, an high-rise apartment complex located at 51 Washington St., Conshochoken, on June 7 for the report of an in-progress breaking and entering crime. According to an affidavit of probable cause by police, a woman resident there said that she’d returned from her vacation to find a male in her bed.
According to police, the luxury apartments in the building are accessed by computer-generated locking systems, and those with access must have a “synchronized card” for entry. Police said the man found in the woman’s bed did not have permission to be in or have access to the woman’s apartment…
