Philadelphia, PA – A car service driver is recovering after he was shot during an attempted robbery in Philadelphia’s Germantown neighborhood Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Officers from the 14th District initially responded at approximately 12:09 p.m. to the 5700 block of Boyer Street for a report of a stabbing. When they arrived, they found an adult man suffering from what appeared to be a chest wound and transported him to Albert Einstein Medical Center.
Victim was shot during attempted robbery
Hospital staff later determined the victim had actually sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. He was listed in stable condition.
