Lafayette Hill man jailed after admitting to domestic assault

NORRISTOWN — A Lafayette Hill man was sent to jail for a domestic assault during which he strangled a woman as they argued at his apartment.

Alexander Walter Fedyna, 30, of the 9800 block of Germantown Pike, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 9 to 23 months in the county jail after he pleaded guilty to a felony charge of strangulation in connection with an April 2025 incident at his residence in the Lafayette Hill section of Springfield Township.

Judge William R. Carpenter, who imposed the sentence as part of a plea agreement, also ordered Fedyna to complete two years of probation consecutive to parole, meaning Fedyna will be under court supervision for about four years…
