SEPTA is beginning Phase 1 of its New Bus Network rollout this month, including two new bus routes.
According to the transportation authority, the first phase will begin Aug. 23 and 24 across the region’s bus network.
Where are SEPTA’s new bus routes, Aug. 23
SEPTA is introducing two new routes during its first phase of the New Bus Network:
- Route 72 – Operating from Frankford Transit Center to Cedarbrook Plaza via Pratt St, Roosevelt Blvd, Adams Ave, Crescentville Rd, and Cheltenham Ave. The route creates a new connection on Cheltenham Ave and will run every 30 minutes.
- Route 76 – Operating from Columbus Commons to Rising Sun Ave and Olney Ave via Columbus Blvd, Frankford Ave, G St, Whitaker Ave, and Adams Ave. The route replaces discontinued segments of bus route 25 and connects North and South Philly
