The Philadelphia Water Department (PWD) is hosting a free Open House Experience and career fair on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Southwest Water Pollution Control Plant, 8200 Enterprise Ave., near Philadelphia International Airport.
According to a PHILADELPHIA.TODAY report, the event will include a 30-minute bus tour that explains the wastewater treatment process from start to finish and showcases the people, technology, and processes protecting Philadelphia’s waterways.
