Investigators consider Raymond Horsch, who owned and lived in the Olney house known as the house of horrors, a suspected serial killer, CBS News Philadelphia reported after confirming it with multiple law enforcement sources. Horsch, known as R.C., died in 2025.
At least seven missing women have been linked to the home at 417 West Chew Ave. At least five of them are feared dead.
Excavation Set to Grow Next Week
CBS News Philadelphia reported that the work at the house will ramp up next week, with road closures planned in the neighborhood. Investigators also plan to use heavy machinery for excavation.
Police said earlier that law enforcement would remain in the area until about mid-October. The FBI and Philadelphia police are both working at the property.
