Police: Pennsylvania man faces charges after decapitating father, posting video on YouTube

LEVITTOWN, Pa. — A Pennsylvania man faces multiple charges after he allegedly killed his father and posted a disturbing video about the incident to YouTube, authorities say.

Justin Mohn, 32, was arraigned early Wednesday on charges including murder, possession of an instrument of crime and abuse of a corpse, Middletown police Lt. Pete Feeney said. Other charges may be filed.

Feeney said police went to a house in Levittown at around 7 p.m. after Mohn’s mother, Denice, had discovered the decapitated body of her husband, Michael Mohn, a federal employee of more than 20 years. Her screams caused at least one neighbor to call police, Feeney said.

Mohn was arrested Tuesday night in Fort Indiantown Gap, the home of a large National Guard Training Center, some 100 miles away from the house in Levittown where his father’s body was found. Feeney said police are still putting together a timeline of events and it remains unclear why Mohn fled to Fort Indiantown Gap.

Michael and Denise Mohn are listed as the property owners of the Levittown home.
