Philadelphia, PA — A 72-year-old man died Saturday evening after suffering a sudden medical emergency behind the wheel and crashing into a parked vehicle on the 4800 block of Spruce Street, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
Officers responded around 5:20 p.m. to reports of a single-vehicle collision and found that the driver had struck an unoccupied parked car after losing control. The man was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where doctors pronounced him dead at 6:05 p.m. No other injuries were reported.
