Jerrica Trimble said she has lived in Mesa for 27 years and watched the city change over time.
But the most recent alarming change for her is seeing all the Flock cameras, which automatically read license plates, “all over our city right now.”
“I’m very, very deeply concerned,” Trimble said at a recent council meeting. “Let’s see, Chandler, Tempe, Surprise, Tucson, Sedona and Flagstaff have all recently canceled their contracts and are in different parts of the process of getting the cameras removed.”
