PEORIA, AZ (AZFamily) — Newly released police body camera and home surveillance video provide a firsthand look at the moments Peoria police officers arrived at a home where a couple was killed and took their son into custody.
Jonathan Turk, who called 911 on March 31 and admitted to killing his parents with a hammer and knife, is scheduled to stand trial in early December.
Ring doorbell video obtained by Arizona’s Family shows Turk pacing back and forth outside the family home after placing the emergency call. When Peoria police officers arrived at the scene, Turk dropped face-down onto the ground without speaking and allowed officers to place him in handcuffs.
