Woman accused of intentionally hitting man with SUV, killing him in Phoenix

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A woman is jailed after Phoenix police say she intentionally hit a pedestrian last weekend, killing him.

Mikela Antresa Bahe, 30, is facing charges in connection with the death of 52-year-old Norris L. Taft.

Just after 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, police and fire crews responded to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian in the area of 16th Street and Maryland Avenue. They arrived to find Taft with serious injuries, and he died a short time later at an area hospital…
