The Dallas FBI Field Office shared insight into the reported decline in violent crime both in the U.S. and in the North Texas region.
According to the agency’s 2025 Crime in the Nation Report, there were 1.1 million violent crimes reported nationally, a decrease of 9.3% from 2024 to 2025.
