Marking a new era: Frisco residents to elect new mayor on May 2

Frisco voters will head to the polls May 2 to choose the city’s next mayor, with early voting running April 20-28.

The race marks a turning point for one of North Texas’ fastest-growing cities. Mayor Jeff Cheney, first elected in 2017, has reached his term limit and will not seek reelection, leaving the seat open for the first time in eight years.
