White Castle, beloved for its iconic slider burgers, is finally headed to the Lone Star State. The chain’s new Texas location will be in The Colony, a suburb of Dallas, reports The Houston Chronicle. A spokesperson for the mixed-use development told The Houston Chronicle that the fast-food restaurant is currently in the construction phase. The actual opening date for Texas’s first White Castle has yet to be confirmed by the company.
In 1921, White Castle opened its first-ever location in Wichita, Kansas. Since then, the first fast-food hamburger chain in the world has expanded to over 300 locations.
