Washington DC chain Toastique planning two more Texas cafes, permits say

East Coast cafe chain Toastique is expanding further into Texas, with plans to open two more locations in the Lone Star State.

The toast, juice and coffee bar concept filed a permit with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation in February to open a location in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The upcoming Toastique at 8060 Park Lane will be the fifth of its kind in the metroplex.

This week, Toastique filed another permit with TDLR for a location in Beaumont. According to project details submitted Wednesday, the chain will be renovating a space at 6755 Phelan Blvd., about an hour and a half away from Houston. Construction is expected in late June and finish by August’s end…
