Yesterday at Bachman Lake turned grim when witnesses saw a man enter the water and never come back out, prompting a rapid response from Dallas emergency crews and an active police investigation.
Rescue teams pulled the man’s body from the lake near the bridge on Webb Chapel Road, behind a nearby restaurant. Dallas police remained on scene as recovery crews worked, and the case has been turned over to investigators. Officials have not yet released the man’s identity while the Dallas County Medical Examiner reviews the case.
