ST. LUCIE COUNTY, Fla (CBS12) — A man awaiting a possible retrial in the fatal shooting of his former girlfriend is accused of attacking convicted murderer Otto Lenke inside the St. Lucie County Jail.
According to an arrest affidavit, Robert Castro approached Lenke in a jail dorm on July 6 and struck him in the face, knocking off his glasses.
Lenke approached an intercom and reported the attack to corrections staff, the affidavit says. A deputy noticed a cut on the upper part of Lenke’s nose, and a nurse treated the injury…
