PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — Deputies executed a SWAT-assisted takedown Thursday after a Port St. Lucie man allegedly used the internet as a tool to commit child sex crimes.
Investigators with the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, a SWAT Team, and the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force served a search warrant at the residence of 35-year-old Marco Fernandez, in the 100 block of NE Jardain Road.
Deputies say they booked Fernandez for counts of lewd and lascivious molestation involving a victim between the ages of 12 and 16, transmission of harmful material to a minor by electronic device, lewd computer solicitation of a child, and contributing to the delinquency of a child…
