PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two people accused of deliberately ramming a stolen car into a Multnomah County Sheriff’s patrol vehicle were arrested Monday morning.
Deputies responded to a welfare check in the 23300 block of Northeast Halsey Street around 10 a.m. after the caller reported seeing two people who appeared to be “passed out” in a vehicle in a designated accessible parking space.

When the deputies arrived, they positioned their SUVs behind the suspect’s car. They said the driver immediately started the engine, rammed a patrol vehicle and hit several other cars in an attempt to escape.
The driver, who has since been identified as 23-year-old Angel Clarence Bourdage, reportedly sped out of the parking lot and headed east on Northeast Halsey Street.
