PORTLAND, Ore. — Ongoing violence and crime in Southeast Portland’s Centennial neighborhood have many neighbors frustrated and fearful, underlined by a deadly shooting over the weekend.
Portland police responded early Sunday morning to the area near Southeast Stark Street and Southeast 148th Avenue, where officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to a hospital, where he later died.
