Driver dies at hospital after crashing into tree in Vancouver

VANCOUVER, Wash. (KPTV) – One person is dead after a crash in Vancouver early Monday morning.

The crash happened just before 2 a.m. near East Mill Plain Boulevard and East Reserve Street. Police said a car left the roadway and hit a tree head-on in the center median.

The driver, a man who has not yet been identified, was taken to a hospital where he later died.

According to police, impairment is believed to have been a factor in the crash. Police also said the driver was not wearing a seatbelt…
