PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Dozens of educators working with Portland Public Schools have received layoff notices for the upcoming school year, according to union representatives.
The Portland Association of Teachers said it is aware of 82 notices, claiming that 77 of the known notices directly violate their contract.
