PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A potential drowning was reported at Meldrum Bar Park in Gladstone, on the banks of the Willamette River, authorities said.
Clackamas Fire Department Public Information Officer Tammy Owen told KOIN 6 News that firefighters are responding to a potential drowning. However, the investigation is being led by the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, who will release more information later on, she said.
Meldrum Bar Park is closed to the public during the investigation, with divers actively searching in the water.
