Alleged drunk driver facing slew of charges after Portland crash that trapped a pedestrian under a truck

A Gresham woman is accused of crashing her car into a parked truck on June 16, hitting it hard enough to fling the truck into a man walking past, severely injuring him. The woman allegedly fled the scene and crashed into another car only a few blocks away, then took off again.

Laila Wafiq Hassouneh, 41, faces charges of second- and- third- degree assault, failure to perform the duties of a driver, DUII, reckless driving and reckless endangerment.
