PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Gresham man consumed psilocybin and claimed he felt like he was in “The Matrix” before running over his mother in Vancouver, Washington, according to court documents.
As first reported by The Columbian, Aaron Inclan has been charged with driving under the influence, vehicular assault and a hit-and-run causing an injury. Clark County court records show Vancouver police arrested the 41-year-old man after he was identified as the suspect in a crash that hospitalized his mother.

Officers responded to the collision on Carolina Lane just after midnight on Sunday, June 28, according to a probable cause declaration. Officials said a caller reported hearing someone scream “Look out! Stay here!” moments before seeing a woman lying in the road.
