PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Another Portland area bar has announced its closure. Pink Rabbit shared via Facebook on Thursday that after nearly five years, owners have made the decision to close citing a “brutal” environment for small bars and restaurants.
“Like many downtown businesses, we’ve watched the neighborhood shift over the past few years — fewer people are walking these streets, which has translated directly into fewer guests through our doors. That’s compounded by a broader industry shift: people everywhere are simply drinking less and going out less often than they used to,” the post said.
