PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — A bicyclist was critically injured after a crash with a Toyota Avalon in Portland, and police said the driver left the scene before officers arrived.
The Portland Police Bureau said it responded around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 11 after a collision between the driver of a Toyota Avalon and a rider of a bicycle. Police said the bicyclist fell underneath the vehicle and was critically injured.
Officers arrived and found that the driver of the Toyota had gotten out of the car and left the scene, police said. The driver was not immediately located…
