PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – People in an apartment building in Portland’s Old Town have been asked to shelter in place after a disturbance possibly involving a gun on Saturday night, according to police.
Just after 6 p.m., officers with the Portland Police Bureau were called to apartments near Northwest Sixth Avenue and Northwest Everett Street. Police said there were reports of a disturbance inside one of the apartment units that might involve a gun.
According to police as of 10:30 p.m., officers have surrounded the area and evacuated one apartment unit in the building, while the rest of the residents were asked to shelter in place and lock their doors. But told to be ready should police ask them to evacuate as well…
