PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A driver died after a single-vehicle crash on a road within the Yacolt Burn State Forest in Washington, authorities said.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the crash on the L-1500 Road east of the L-1510 in an area that is managed by the Department of Natural Resources.
DNR Police, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, and Clark County Fire District 3 all responded and located a man who was dead and later determined to be the sole occupant of a nearby Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.
