PORTLAND, Ore. — Last week, a tearful Megan Moroney scrapped a show in Denver three songs into a performance due to illness. Whether the Georgia country music star had ever canceled a show before was unclear, but the onstage admission that she couldn’t go on and a video that’s she posted online later made it clear that she thought she’d failed her fans.
“I thought I did everything to make myself better,” the 27-year-old said, before rescheduling the date for later this month.
