A Portland real estate stalwart is suing his longtime assistant and caregiver, alleging the younger man misappropriated more than $1 million with plans to transfer the money offshore.
Homer Williams, credited with redeveloping the Pearl District and South Waterfront before turning his attention to homeless shelters via his Oregon Harbor of Hope nonprofit, filed a lawsuit against Mohamed “Mo” Badreddine this week in Multnomah County Circuit Court.
