Thief who stole from dozens of Portland convenience stores sentenced to 6+ years in prison

PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — A serial thief was sentenced to more than six years in jail after he pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges for stealing from several stores – including one Plaid Pantry 39 different times.

Investigators say that Timothy Jones, 54, stole goods that total about $50,000 in loss for the stores.
