PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Vancouver man with an alias of “thug nasty” tortured a woman for several days before she was able to escape, court documents have revealed.
Clark County Superior Court records show that man, identified as Nathanial Samy Allen Sylvester, has been charged with domestic violence unlawful imprisonment, harassment with threat to kill, second-degree murder, second-degree domestic violence assault and two counts of fourth-degree domestic violence assault. Judge Tsering Cornell set the 31-year-old man’s bail at $1 million on Monday, days after he was arrested in connection with the case.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a “suspicious circumstance” at a Northeast 78th Street location on Aug. 21 around 4:37 p.m., according to a probable cause affidavit. Deputy Cody Austin said a 33-year-old woman located in the back room of a Goodwill disclosed that she had met Sylvester days before, “with the intentions of having consensual intercourse and casual ‘hanging out.’”…
