Disaster restoration company to shutter Portland facility, lay off 55 workers

J.R. Johnson, a contractor that specializes in disaster restoration, will close its Portland facility by Oct. 31. The closure will result in the elimination of 55 jobs.

The company is a subsidiary of Illinois-based Watterson Environmental Group.
