Portland’s scariest house is finally cleared out by police after years of complaints

A notorious ‘nuisance’ property in Southeast Portland which has been terrorizing locals for the last five years has finally been cleared of a dozen alleged squatters.

The abandoned property at 3254 Southeast 111th Avenue was vacated by neighborhood response teams last Thursday, following a dramatic stand-off in which several occupants tried to barricade themselves inside.

Police said they removed 12 alleged squatters living in squalid conditions at the property, along with four bottle-fed kittens…
