Vancouver police accuse man of kidnapping, assaulting 7-month-old child

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man faces multiple charges after police arrested him in connection to the kidnapping of a 7-month-old child in August, according to Vancouver police.

Officers took 37-year-old Raul Martinez Guevara into custody around 18th Street on Tuesday morning and is currently being held in Clark County Jail.

He is charged with second-degree kidnapping, fourth-degree assault, first-degree custodial interference, violation of a protection order, and second-degree robbery.
