PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — On Thursday, Clark County officials brought an additional first-degree arson charge against a man already in custody on an arrest related to theft and starting a separate brush fire.
Detectives arrested 31-year-old Josue Paredes Merino after responding to a reported brush fire near Northeast 119th Avenue, near the Interstate 205 overpass on Aug. 28.
According to officials, a witness reported seeing Paredes Merino start the brush fire.
