PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Portland man who broke into buildings across the city has been sentenced to more than four years in prison, according to the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office.
John Benjamin Newsom, 50, was convicted on Thursday of first and second-degree and burglary in connection with a string of break-ins at four buildings from November 2025 to March 2026.
