PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – The Portland Police Association (PPA) is calling for Portland City Councilor Mitch Green’s resignation over resurfaced social media posts criticizing the police.
According to a report by the Oregonian, Green made several posts on Twitter in 2020 and 2021—years prior to running for office—where he mentioned his “pure hatred for the Portland Police” and called them “monsters.”
