Happy Valley family alleges thief stole $400 worth of youth softball jerseys

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A brazen porch pirate in Happy Valley is accused of stealing youth softball jerseys, leaving the coaches out nearly $400.

The Turner family says the alleged thief, caught on Ring security video, was bold enough to take the package from their front porch in broad daylight.

In the video sent to KOIN 6 News, the man appears to walk up to the front door under the nose of the security camera, where he then drops off an empty fast food bag in exchange for the package. He walks back to his car before driving off.
