Portland’s mixed bag Monday starts dry, partly sunny, but may finish with rain

The metro area will wake to dry skies Monday and see sunshine and high clouds during the bulk of the day before rain chances increase in the valleys, from south to north, starting in the afternoon.

The National Weather Service says a system making an eastward push out of the Pacific Ocean will send clouds inland through the day and could bring light showers to Portland by the late afternoon and into the evening.

Portland warmed to 75 degrees Sunday (unofficial) and should see that temp again Monday under partly sunny skies…
