Body found in Columbia River identified as missing 62-year-old Vancouver woman

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A body recently recovered from the Columbia River has been identified as a 62-year-old woman who went missing nearly a month ago, Clark County officials confirmed Tuesday.

According to Vancouver Police, Carrie Ann Winters was reported missing on Mar. 28, and was last known to be near the Frenchman’s Bar area in west Vancouver.

Winters’ body was recovered from the river in Vancouver on April 16, and the Clark County Medical Examiner confirmed her identity a few days later.

The Medical Examiner has yet to release Winters’ cause and manner of death…
