PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A woman was taken into custody after officials say she fled from a police traffic stop, then crashed into two other vehicles in Northeast Portland on Wednesday evening.
Just after 7:30 p.m., Portland Fire & Rescue crews responded to reports of the three-vehicle crash, with one vehicle on its side at Northeast 8th and Lombard.

According to Portland police, a driver had fled a traffic stop and officers attempted to deploy spike strips. However, the driver swerved and crashed into two other vehicles.
Officials said the impact of the crash caused the vehicle to flip on its side and onto the sidewalk.
The drivers of all three vehicles were taken to a hospital and there is “no indication that any injuries are life-threatening,” police said.
The driver who initially fled the traffic stop was taken into custody. Her identity has not been released at this time…
