Shelter-in-place advisory issued for Vancouver residents after hazardous materials spill

VANCOUVER, Wash. (KATU) — Firefighters issued a shelter-in-place advisory late Friday night for residents around Northeast 107th Avenue after a pickup truck carrying hazardous materials crashed on Padden Parkway.

The crash happened at about 9 p.m. near Northeast Padden Parkway and 107th Avenue.

Firefighters said a driver of a pickup traveling westbound struck the center median, went into oncoming traffic and rolled over. The pickup came to rest on its side in the eastbound lanes…
